Donations may be made to Knauss Homestead Preservation Society in the form of:

bulletCash gifts
bulletGift Memberships at any level. Knauss Homestead will notify the recipient with a gift card and welcome packet.
bulletSponsorships of programs, events, publications
bulletDonations to our Annual campaign
bulletPledges may be made in monthly, quarterly or semi-annual installments.
bulletMatching Gifts may be available from your employer. Contact your company’s human resources department to obtain a matching gift form. Matching gifts double the value of your donation!
bulletCommemorative Gifts are a way to honor the important people in your life. Your gift will be acknowledged and a card sent to the designated recipient.
bulletAppreciated Securities or Property: Publicly traded stocks or real estate that have appreciated and have been held for more than twelve months offer two advantages. Capital gains are not paid on the appreciated value of the stock or real estate, and the current value qualifies as a charitable donation. To avoid the capital gains tax you must make the donation in the form of stock, which Knauss Homestead Preservation will then sell. Some donors may be subject to the alternative minimum tax on the unrealized appreciation of capital gains. You should contact your tax advisory for assistance.

Please mail your contribution noting your specific fund choice, if any, to:
